He specializes in innovation and (international) entrepreneurship in Island Economies\, and he advocates for the tech industry as a new economic pillar for the Islands.  \nHe holds a PhD in Economics & Business from UNED Madrid and graduated from the Maastricht Graduate School of Governance (now part of UNU MERIT).  \nDr. Rojer is an Assistant Professor at the University of Curaçao and leads the Entrepreneurship curriculum at the School of Business. He draws his contributions from executive and supervisory experience in both profit and not-for-profit sectors and has fulfilled roles as an advisor to governments and multilateral organizations in the region.
